How It Works

Profhilo® is made of ultra-pure hyaluronic acid using patented NAHYCO® technology, which allows it to act as a biostimulator rather than a traditional filler.

The treatment involves injecting small amounts of Profhilo® just beneath the surface of the skin in specific points (usually five on each side of the face). Once injected, it spreads evenly across the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production, improving hydration, and enhancing skin firmness and elasticity.

Procedure time: Approx. 15–30 minutes
Anaesthetic: Topical numbing cream may be used for comfort
Sessions recommended: Usually 2 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart for best results

Longevity

You’ll start noticing results after the first session, with optimal results seen 2–4 weeks after the second treatment.
Profhilo® results typically last 6 to 9 months, after which maintenance sessions every 6 months are recommended to keep the skin firm, plump, and glowing.

Aftercare Tips

To support healing and maximise your results:

Avoid touching the treated area for 6 hours post-treatment
Refrain from applying makeup for 12–24 hours
Avoid vigorous exercise, alcohol, sun exposure, and heat (sauna, steam) for 24–48 hours
Minor swelling, redness, or small lumps at injection sites may occur and typically resolve within 24–72 hours
Stay well-hydrated to support skin regeneration
